Cashier / Host

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier / Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth service experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and experience in food service or hospitality environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop guest relations skills and contribute to a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive guest services
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Operate POS systems such as Toast
• Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area
• Assist with guest seating, ensuring timely service flow
• Support the food service team by coordinating guest orders when necessary
• Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest relations, and customer service throughout all interactions
• Have RBT Certificate

Skills

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
• Experience in restaurant or hotel guest services enhances effectiveness in this role
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest relations best practices
• Ability to work well within a team and maintain professionalism at all times

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
