Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly individual to join our team as a Restaurant Cashier/Hostess. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service to our guests. The cashier/hostess will handle guest payments, manage to-go orders, and assist with seating guests in the dining area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage wait listings and maintain an organized seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and maintain accurate waitlists.
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide information.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the hostess stand and cashier station.
• Provide assistance to guests with special requests or accommodations.
• Manage and package to-go & delivery orders
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
• Handle cash transactions, reconcile cash drawers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 0~25+ pounds.
• Bend, stoop, and reach to perform various tasks.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
