Pistol Jo’s Cherry Point BBQ in Ridgeland, SC is seeking a cashier/line prep to join our team. We are located at 2915 N Okatie Hwy. The ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable.

We aim to attract individuals with excellent personalities whose high energy and sense of urgency inspire others. This role will ensure that all store standards related to food production and customer service are adhered to during each shift. Additionally, responsibilities include menu builds, cash control, and safety procedures compliance. The Cashier/FOH will provide exceptional customer service while adhering to company standards and maintaining the company culture. Support the management team by being guest-focused through behaviors such as: Be Fun. Be Clean. Be Right. Be Fast.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Enhance customer satisfaction
• Greet customers with energy and enthusiasm

• Educate guests on menu items and flavors
• Accurately fill orders

Cash and Product Control

• Ensure correct food builds while minimizing waste and shrinkage
• Ring up items correctly
• Maintain store cleanliness
• Keep dining room, BOH, Kitchen, and FOH clean and safe
• Ensure guest areas are clean and safe
• Keep storage areas neat, clean, and organized
• Maintain cleanliness in bathroom areas
• Manage daily Point of Sale responsibilities; handle cash management during shifts
• Exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor during transactions
• Explain current promotions to guests
• Keep assigned areas stocked and focused on guest needs
• Complete daily prep and side work assignments
• Encourage repeat business
• Maintain a welcoming and enjoyable environment

• Must be able to stand for long periods
