Cashier / Phone Operator

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in or check-out processes using POS systems.
• Accurately process payments, refunds, and reservations while maintaining attention to detail.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously, providing information or directing calls as needed.
• Manage guest inquiries via phone and in person, delivering excellent guest relations through clear communication and attentive service.
• Support handling cash transactions, and ensuring smooth flow at the cashier station.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment functions properly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure guest needs are met efficiently, demonstrating hospitality and teamwork at all times.

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service or hospitality is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and positive communication.
• Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments enhances your ability to excel in this role.
• Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle guest inquiries confidently over the phone are essential.
• Prior experience in serving or guest services roles helps build the foundation for success here.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
