Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions, including cash handling, making change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
• Support food preparation activities when needed, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
• Upsell products to enhance sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of the cashier area, food service stations, and surrounding environment by bussing tables and cleaning as required
• Assist with basic food handling tasks, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety procedures
• Manage inventory levels at the register station and restock supplies as necessary

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred, especially in quick service or fast food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in a café or grocery store setting is a plus
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $8.00 - $21.00 per hour
