Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Cashier and Order Processor, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions and food orders. This position offers an energetic environment focused on fast-paced food service, retail, and hospitality operations. You will be responsible for processing customer payments, managing food preparation tasks, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders in a quick service or café setting
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing and cash handling
• Process payments efficiently using cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment methods while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and sanitation standards, including basic food preparation
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cashier station, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, food serving, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments, preferably within quick service or fast food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols in the food industry
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while multitasking efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
• Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing tables, or kitchen operations is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment with a focus on hospitality excellence
