Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Cashier Supervisor to manage the cashier team, oversee daily cash operations, and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service at the checkout counters.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the cashier team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor POS transactions, cash handling, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure accuracy in billing, cash drawer balancing, and reporting discrepancies.
• Train and guide cashiers on company procedures, customer service, and efficiency.
• Handle escalated customer queries or issues at the cash counter.
• Maintain cash handling compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.
• Assist in scheduling cashier shifts and monitoring performance.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as a cashier or supervisor in a hypermarket/retail environment.
• Previous experience supervising a team is mandatory.
