Cashier / Take-Out Specialist

Come join the team at the longest running restaurant in Walnut Creek! The Hick'ry Pit is looking to hire a competent and reliable Cashier / Takeout Specialist to be a positive and high energy representative of our restaurant. We are looking for candidates that have at least 6 months of restaurant or retail experience, a polite and friendly attitude, enjoy conversing with guests, and thrive in a fast paced environment. The ultimate goal of this candidate is to give a positive initial experience.

Qualifications

• Retail or Restaurant Experience
• Excellent Customer Service
• Attention to Detail

Main Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a friendly manner
• Take To-Go orders (both in-person, over the phone, online, 3rd party apps, etc.)
• Know our menu extremely well
• Keeping up with side work and stocking up the take-out station
• Seat according to the Server Rotation when needed
• Get beverages for tables when needed
• Weekend availability required

Shifts:

Sundays: 9am-3pm
Monday: 9am-3pm
Thursday: 7am-3pm
Friday: 9am-3pm
Saturdays: 9am-3pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Base Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
