Cashier/ To-Go specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier and To-go Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will excel in guest relations and possess strong communication skills to ensure a seamless takeout experience for our customers. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service while managing orders efficiently and accurately.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with their takeout orders, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system, ensuring all details are correct for timely preparation.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and promptly.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to takeout orders, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Prepare and package food items for takeout, ensuring quality and presentation meet restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the takeout area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest services and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly POS, is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
