Cashier/Barista/Customer Service

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our café, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to connect with customers and manage time effectively will contribute to a positive experience for everyone who visits our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with menu selections.
• Operate the Clover POS system for processing transactions accurately.
• Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accurate cash drawer management and reconciliation.
• Prepare food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the café area.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including coffee offerings and food selections, to enhance customer experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with Clover POS.
• Experience in the food industry, particularly in cafés or retail settings, is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
