Cashier/Barista/Donut Shop Team Member

We are looking for a Cashier/Barista/Donut Shop team member to assist customers with their donut orders, and help prepare and serve hot and cold beverages. Job responsibilities include educating customers on our menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, taking orders, packaging or boxing donuts, keeping the store clean and stocked, and other cashier- front of the house duties. To be successful in this role, you should have great customer service, be outgoing, a fast learner, be able to handle a fast-pace work environment, and always show up to work on time. You should be able to work various shifts. Note: this position’s compensation includes hourly pay and tips.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter
• Take orders while paying attention to detail.
• Prepare beverages following recipes
• Serve beverages and prepared food, like donuts, croissant etc
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Keep work station clean
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
• Show up to work on time

Skills

• Previous work experience as a Barista, Cashier, or Server
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Basic math skills
• Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
• Excellent communication skills
• Fast learner
• High school diploma; relevant training is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
