Cashier/Cook

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cashier/Cook to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in dining environments and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences through a fixed menu, food preparation, and cleanliness. Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Execute menu maintaining creativity and presentation.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and entire shop including proper storage of ingredients, maintaining/handling trash, dishes, and equipment.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Assist in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs for replenishment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook in a dining or high-volume food service environment.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Proficient knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in food preparation.
• A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques or cuisines as needed.
