Duties

• Prepare a variety of food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, change giving, and balancing registers at shift end.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring food safety compliance.
• Assist with food prep tasks like chopping, assembling ingredients, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
• Support the overall operation by managing time effectively during busy periods and assisting team members as needed to ensure smooth service flow.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, handling food safely, and maintaining sanitation standards.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing.
• Experience working in a café or retail grocery store setting is a plus.

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
