Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company expectations
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions accurately, handle cash, credit cards, and digital payments efficiently
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling products to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, balancing registers at the end of shifts while adhering to security procedures
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants or cafés is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems like Oracle POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing sales and transactions
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards

- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
