Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company expectations
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions accurately, handle cash, credit cards, and digital payments efficiently
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling products to enhance sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, balancing registers at the end of shifts while adhering to security procedures
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants or cafés is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Familiarity with POS systems like Oracle POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing sales and transactions
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude that creates a welcoming environment for guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and safety protocols
