Cashier/Customer Service (10:45 am - 2:45 pm)

GuestRaunt (www.guestraunt.com), a boutique food service provider, has an opening on the Team. GuestRaunt provides meal services at business locations by partnering with local restaurants throughout the State of Michigan. This position of Cashier (Ambassador), works alongside the restaurant, ringing up all the transactions for the meals served. This position is fun, has a great environment and your day moves quickly.

Our immediate opening is for Five days A WEEK. Monday through Friday, in Pontiac, MI at UWM Mortgage Location. 4 hour Shift- Fixed Schedule- 10:45 am to 2:45 pm. As the cashier, you will work alongside the restaurants, ring up the transactions for the sales of their food during the two-hour lunch period, you will be standing during the whole two-hour lunch period. You will be responsible for balancing your drawer and managing the cleanliness at your station.

We are looking for highly motivated employees to be the front-line people in our building locations. Must have excellent communication skills and be a customer service professional. Able to understand and follow directions and perform job functions under limited supervision.

The service period is a two-hour window (for lunch service). We ask that you arrive before the Restaurant Partners to set up for the day and at the end to make sure the location is tidy, and your register is balanced out. You will always be paid for a 4-hour shift.

Our work week is from Sunday through Saturday, and our pay cycle is weekly. It is required to have a direct deposit of your earnings.

The company supplies your uniform shirts, and we ask that you wear dark pants and closed toed shoes (food service requirement).

Responsibilities-

• Prepare and Close serving stations for restaurant partners daily
• Maintain cleanliness in the serving area
• Operate Point of Service Computer, (Square), with handling of cash and credit cards
• Maintain cash drawer with balancing and reporting daily
• Collect Time and Temperature logs from Restaurant partners and store on property
• Handle guest complaints, comments, and compliments
• Promote sales and up sell discreetly!
• Must establish effective relationships with customers and building management.

Requirements-

• Customer-oriented with excellent customer service and communications skills
• Good problem solving and guest complaint handling skills
• Good sense of marketing strategies
• Able to work under pressure
• Computer literate
• POS experience (Square a plus)
• Must always maintain a professional appearance
• This position requires constant standing, bending, and communicating with building patrons.
• Excellent verbal skills are necessary
• Maintain Regular and Punctual Attendance

Compensation

· $15.00 per hour.

· Most Restaurants provide meals at the end of the Shift
