Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our gas station, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your responsibilities will include managing the cash register, assisting customers with their inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently for transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and inventory is managed effectively.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience in stocking and merchandising is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
