Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries.
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for checkout transactions, including cash handling and processing credit/debit payments
• Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain clean and organized merchandising displays; stock shelves and ensure products are well-presented
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory counts
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedure.
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts
• Strong communication skills in both bilingual settings (if applicable) and in person
• Experience with upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies
• Knowledge of retail store operations including stocking, inventory management, and retail sales processes.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle diverse customer needs effectively
• Basic math skills for cash register operations and sales calculations
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
