Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Server/Cashier to join our team. As a Server/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OVER.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with menus
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system (Aloha POS) and process payments
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations in handling food and beverages
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or POS system (Aloha POS)
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional customer service

Note: All positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
