Duties

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and swiftly.
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience.
• Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end.
• Assist customers with product demos, upselling relevant items to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible.
• Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and reporting low stock levels.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries remotely.
• Promote store promotions and new products to boost sales and customer engagement.

Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially in leading team members during busy shifts.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math is beneficial for accurate transactions.
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor are essential for delivering top-tier customer service.
• Experience with grocery store operations or retail merchandising will help you excel in this role.
