Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to engage with customers and ensure a smooth shopping experience will be key to our success.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
• Stock shelves and ensure the sales floor is organized and visually appealing.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing training and support.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism.
• Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences.
• Familiarity with retail math to assist in inventory management and stock assessments.
• Ability to operate POS systems effectively.

Pay: $9.50 - $11.00 per hour
