Duties

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
• Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries with professionalism
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales
• Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an attractive store layout
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
• Promote upselling opportunities to maximize sales while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via other communication channels

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred
• Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in retail settings is advantageous
• Knowledge of liquor store and grocery store operations or retail sales is beneficial
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, product demos, and upselling techniques is desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to engaging shoppers
