Cashier/Customer Service

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions, assist with product inquiries, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash with care.
• Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos and recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
• Address customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing products.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while contributing to individual sales goals.
• Proficient in cash register operations and handling various payment methods.
• Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance customer experience.
• Capable of performing product demonstrations to engage customers effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
