Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Cashier and Customer Service Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. In this role, you will handle transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, assist customers with their needs, and ensure the store remains organized and inviting. Your friendly communication skills and proactive attitude will help drive sales, promote products through demos and upselling, and foster customer loyalty. Some flexibility with hours.

Day shifts are 8am-Noon, 8am-2pm or 8am-4pm and evening shifts are 12pm-7pm, 2pm-7pm or 4pm-7pm On Sunday shifts are 9am-5pm or a portion of these hours

Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions clearly, and assisting with product selections.
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store layout is attractive and accessible.
• Manage inventory through stock checks, labeling products correctly, and notifying management of low stock levels or discrepancies.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or placing orders remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times.

Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling ensures smooth transactions.
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding team members or managing customer interactions during busy periods.
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Strong communication skills combined with friendly phone etiquette will help build positive relationships with customers.
