Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team! In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently handling transactions. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, including product demos and inquiries
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments while handling cash responsibly
• Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure a clean, inviting shopping environment
• Perform stocking duties as needed, including inventory checks and replenishing merchandise
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer questions or assisting via phone calls
• Assist with basic retail math calculations for transactions, discounts, and promotions
• Support team members with supervising experience by helping train new staff or guiding less experienced colleagues

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual options are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math concepts is a plus
• Ability to perform basic math accurately and efficiently during transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
