Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demos
• Manage cash handling duties, including counting cash, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end
• Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
• Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting customers over the phone or via online communication

Experience

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse customers
• Demonstrated supervisory experience is beneficial for potential leadership opportunities
• Experience conducting product demos and upselling to increase sales volume
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking techniques, and retail sales strategies
