Duties

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and swiftly.
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demonstrations.
• Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and professionalism.
• Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment, product demos, and assisting with stock counts.

Requirements

• Previous experience with POS systems and cash handling is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail environment is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, are essential.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory counts.
• Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is advantageous.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
