Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary:

I am seeking a friendly and efficient Customer Service Associate / Cashier to work at my small store in the Mall. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Greet and assist customers with their needs, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions, manage cash, and handle credit card transactions
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services to provide accurate information and recommendations
- Manage inventory and stock shelves as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements:

- Proven experience in retail sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with cash handling and POS systems
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
