Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include operating the cash register, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their shopping experience.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, processing transactions with attention to detail.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Promote additional products through upselling techniques to increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions and store policies to effectively communicate with customers.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment.
• Proficient in operating cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls and inquiries.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience in sales or retail in Liquor is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Skills in upselling products to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
