We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions accurately, and supporting store operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and experience in retail sales. Bilingual abilities and supervisory experience are a plus, as is familiarity with POS systems and merchandising. Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
• Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments with precision and attention to detail
• Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience and sales
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays
• Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product rotation
• Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
• Offer excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support team members with supervising tasks when required
• Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales opportunities

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations
• Experience in retail sales, merchandising, stocking, and grocery store operations preferred
• Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
• Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for both in-person and remote interactions
• Friendly demeanor with a focus on creating positive customer experiences

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
