Cashier/Customer Service Associate

Customer Service Associate at Mat’s Pharmacy is the first point of contact for customers when they enter or call our store. You will be responsible for greeting customers entering our establishment, maintaining clean and tidy checkout area and keeping reports of cash/credit transactions. Also you will be answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, and scanning documents into the system.

You must be able to work day and evening shifts.

Customer Service Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering establishments
• Utilize a cash register to perform sales transactions
• Assist customers with their shopping needs and questions
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Answer incoming calls and assist callers with their needs and (or) transfer them to the correct department
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Put out products from wholesalers
• Remove expired merchandise
• Answer telephones and direct the caller to the appropriate associate.
• Tactfully and pleasantly communicates with callers.
• Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
• Guide customers with a timely and relevant information.

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
• Excellent customer service skills
• Phone etiquette skills
• Computer and office equipment skills

• Strong communications skills in English
