Cashier/Customer Service - Evening Shift

Job Summary
Evening Crew Position - We are currently looking for weeknight and weekend night staff. You will need to be able to work from 6pm (around then) to 12:00am/12:30am.

As a Cashier at Tisane, you will be the heart and soul of our shop, greeting and creating memorable experiences for our customers. Your passion for boba and exceptional customer service will shine as you engage with patrons, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

What you’ll do

• Greet every guest with warmth and energy — you set the tone for the Tisane experience.
• Accurately take and enter orders into the Toast POS system, ensuring all customizations are correct.
• Handle payments quickly and securely, balancing accuracy with friendly service.
• Communicate smoothly with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure seamless order flow.
• Keep the counter, register area, and pickup station clean and stocked.
• Stay knowledgeable about the menu and promotions to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Manage order tickets efficiently during busy hours — multitask like a pro while staying calm and positive.

Qualifications

• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Obtain a food handler's permit after hire
• Ability to work in a fast paced/ high volume café/restaurant
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including evening shifts, and/or availability to work on weekends and holidays..
• Able to efficiently participate in daily store operations, including but not limited to: opening/closing, preparing ingredients, making drinks, and managing the register.
• Strictly adhere to food safety and hygiene standards while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Quick learner with strong adaptability skills.
• Positive, friendly, and responsible attitude toward work.
• Committed to providing warm, professional, and attentive service to customers.
• Prior experience in the beverage or food service industry is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy object up to 30 lbs
