Cashier/Customer Service - North Raleigh (Bedford)
Cashiers

A Butcher’s Market Cashier is enthusiastic and passionate about maintaining and exceeding our high level of Customer Service. They are knowledgeable our products and can assist our customers with their selections. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our guest satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. Duties and responsibilities of the cashier will include the following:

Responsibilities

• Observe shift operating hours as scheduled or assigned by Store Manager.
• Provide premier customer service, by engaging customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact.
• Accurately and efficiently scan customer’s products and complete monetary transactions.
• Properly bag items to ensure products arrive at their destination in the condition they left the store.
• Maintain cleanliness of store and perform other tasks as directed by management staff.
• Stock, rotate, receive, and price product as directed by management staff.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations.
• Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank the customer for Shopping at The Butcher’s Market.

Requirements of Job:

• To be able to lift 50 lbs comfortably and frequently lift and carry 25 lbs
• Be able to work a 10–12-hour shift on your feet (walking and standing)
• Work Weekends and Holidays.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
