Responsibilities

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and swiftly
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product information or demos
• Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including cash register balancing and reconciliation at shift end
• Upsell products and promotions to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or follow-up calls
• Support store operations through basic retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory checks

Experience

• Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or similar environments
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings and customer interactions
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising, stock management, and product demos is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to foster positive customer relationships
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks such as stocking, merchandising, and customer service seamlessly

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
