Job Summary
We’re on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face of our store, helping customers with their purchases, answering questions, and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate is approachable, detail-oriented, and eager to provide excellent service while managing transactions smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a friendly manner.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales accurately.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with care and accuracy.
• Provide product demos when needed to help customers make informed choices.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves as needed.
• Upsell products by suggesting complementary items or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience with POS systems and cash handling is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly phone etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs.
• Experience in grocery stores or retail sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
