Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions, returns, and exchanges

- Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Manage cash handling with precision, ensuring correct change and balanced registers at shift end
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Assist in inventory management through stock replenishment and stock rotation
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support remotely
- Support retail sales efforts by promoting promotions, loyalty programs, and new products
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Previous supervising experience or leadership roles in retail environments preferred
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently to customers
- Bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly customer interactions
- Knowledge of grocery store operations is advantageous
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
- Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
