Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a well-organized store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Maintain merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are organized and easily accessible for customers.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Address customer concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math skills.
• Experience with stocking, merchandising, and product demos is a plus.
