Cashier/Deli Clerk

Job Description:

As a convenience store associate, you’ll be assisting maintain the organization of the merchandise, stocking merchandise, assisting customers, etc. We have multiple shifts available: day shift, night shift, full and part-time positions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards. Cashier Responsibilities:

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to address customer concerns in a respectful manner
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to complete basic mathematic calculations

Deli Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of food items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and information about menu items.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:

• 18+ years old
• Eligible to work in the US
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs

Deli requirements:

• Previous experience in convenience store is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Experience with food preparation techniques is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn.

Experience:

• 1+ years of work experience preferred
