Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while efficiently managing transactions and guest interactions. This role combines the responsibilities of handling customer payments, providing exceptional guest service, and ensuring a smooth flow at the entrance or host stand. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating an inviting and positive first impression
• Manage guest seating arrangements and reservations with efficiency and courtesy
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process payments accurately and swiftly
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and receipts with precision and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand or cashier station
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
• Support food service staff by coordinating guest seating and ensuring timely table turnover
• Uphold phone etiquette standards when taking reservations or answering inquiries
• Assist with guest relations by creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits

Skills

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or cashier in food service or restaurant settings
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with hotel or guest relations is a plus
• Familiarity with serving techniques, phone etiquette, and hospitality best practices
