Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow
• Operate POS systems
• Answer phones and take delivery and take out orders and take any inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, assisting with reservations or questions
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations

Skills

• Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience operating POS systems
• Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving, and guest services techniques
• Professional phone etiquette and ability to build rapport with guests
• Strong interpersonal skills to enhance guest relations and team collaboration

Pay: $11.50 - $14.00 per hour
