What you’ll do

• Process customer transactions efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance the shopping experience and boost sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that merchandising displays are attractive and well-stocked.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos that highlight features and benefits to customers.
• Supervise junior staff during shifts, providing guidance on best practices in customer interaction and sales techniques.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, ensuring all customer questions are answered promptly and accurately.
• Utilize basic math skills to manage cash drawers effectively and reconcile daily transactions.

Basic qualifications

• Strong communication skills to connect with customers and team members effectively.
• Experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not required; we provide training!

Preferred qualifications

• Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base are highly valued.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Previous experience in merchandising or stocking to maintain store presentation standards.
