Cashier/Phone Operator

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in or checkout processes using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Process all cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously, providing information or directing calls to appropriate departments.
• Manage guest inquiries via phone and in person, delivering excellent guest relations and resolving issues efficiently.
• Support food service operations by assisting with orders or coordinating guest requests when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and phone area to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of hospitality.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; hotel or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Experience in hospitality, serving, or guest services is preferred but not required.
