Cashier/Sales

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their shopping experience. Your primary responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers with product inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and credit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide product information and recommendations.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions and provide accurate change.

Experience

• Previous experience in smoke shop, Retail Sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience in conducting product demos is a plus.
• A collaborative mindset with a willingness to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
