Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to create a positive shopping experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital transactions
• Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their purchase experience
• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing products for easy access
• Handle cashier duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and processing returns or exchanges
• Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
• Support inventory management through stocking, product rotation, and inventory checks
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations

Skills

• Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Previous supervising or leadership experience is a plus for guiding team members during busy periods
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Excellent communication skills for engaging customers and collaborating with team members
• Experience in merchandising, product demos, upselling, and grocery store environments preferred
• Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional customer interactions
• Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and inventory management
