Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a lively, engaging manner
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance the shopping experience
• Assist with stocking, inventory management, and ensuring products are available for customers
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting remotely or over the phone

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Previous supervising or leadership experience in retail or grocery store environments is a plus
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts
• Experience demonstrating products and engaging customers through friendly sales techniques
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales strategies to maximize store presentation and revenue
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on positive interactions and problem resolution
• Familiarity with grocery store operations, including cashiering, upselling, and maintaining a clean workspace
