Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions efficiently and handle cash, credit, or digital payments with confidence
• Assist customers with product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging additional sales through upselling strategies
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly on shelves
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management to keep the sales floor well-stocked and inviting
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support team members by supervising store activities when needed, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment

Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering roles preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer bases
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage confidently with customers and team members
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
