Responsibilities

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and offering product recommendations
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the shopping experience
• Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure attractive and organized displays
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Promote upselling opportunities to increase sales and meet store goals
• Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone
• Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with inventory counts

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear customer interactions
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math principles
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transactions
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demos enhances your fit for this role

Pay: $22.46 - $27.05 per hour
