Duties

• Operate the cash register accurately, handling all retail sales transactions with efficiency and professionalism
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring merchandise is attractive and accessible
• Manage cash drawer handling and perform daily cash register operations with precision and integrity
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions, returns, and exchanges seamlessly
• Uphold phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, maintaining a friendly and helpful tone

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities
• Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly valued to serve diverse customers effectively
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and retail math to assist customers confidently
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales calculations
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions is essential
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings

Pay: $17.00 - $29.02 per hour
