Cashier/Sandwich Artist

Job Summary
Here at Larry's Giant Subs, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. We are looking for individuals who have a flexible availability and are looking to work Day and/or Night shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring exceptional customer service. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality food and maintain a clean workspace. Food service experience is preferred, but not required, as long as you are eager to learn!! This role requires an individual who can work efficiently under pressure, manage time effectively, and provide excellent service to our customers.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food prep stations and equipment.
• Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling.
• Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Preform basic cleaning tasks to ensure cleanliness of the restaurant.

Skills

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team player mentality with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with customers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
