Work is from 8:00-5:00

Responsibilities

• Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process customer transactions, including cash handling, credit/debit card payments, and upselling opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos.
• Stock shelves efficiently by receiving deliveries, organizing merchandise, and ensuring products are properly displayed through merchandising best practices.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization by performing regular stocking duties and ensuring aisles are clear and inviting.
• Use effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, supervise product placement, and support promotional activities or product demos.
• Uphold phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service in a bilingual setting is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to perform cashiering tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demos enhances your suitability for this role.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
