Third Base Market & Spirits is a locally owned convenience store and gas station serving the Grover Beach community. We pride ourselves on delivering friendly service and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store. We're looking for a reliable and motivated Cashier/Stocker to join our team and help ensure every customer has a smooth, welcoming experience.

Job Overview:
In this dual-role position, you’ll be the friendly face at the register and a key player in keeping our shelves stocked and organized. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, dependable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide outstanding service during their visit.
• Operate the cash register accurately to process sales and returns.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays, ensuring products are faced properly and organized.
• Receive deliveries and stock inventory efficiently.
• Use an RF scanner and inventory tools to track stock levels.
• Help maintain store cleanliness, including the checkout area, aisles, and back stockroom.
• Follow safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs).
• Assist with other duties as needed to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older (due to alcohol and tobacco sales).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll train the right person!
• Friendly, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
